I removed the valves from the head and was surprised that after sitting for 46 years and with a bushel of mouse droppings in the intake manifold, that the valves and the seats were very clean. Intake and exhaust valves both displayed 30 degree grind on the seats. Cams had surface rust which brushed off with cleaner. Head surface showing damage from prybar activity but should clean up easily. Most of the head fasteners and nuts are missing but easy to find and replace. A couple of the cam studs are broken off and will need replacement.
