Carbs 2
More before shots. Peter, the dashpot plungers are stuck so I squirted them with a lot of WD-40 and let them set. Ok? I'll let you know when they are free. I hate to hold you up like this.
I was going to be surprised initially that you'd ended up with a pair of tall dashpot carbs, but realized it was simply the angle that I was looking at. As with everything else you touch on this car, I'm sure they'll come out looking wonderful when complete. I enjoyed tearing the carbs apart and cleaning them up on my father's '120.
Did the same recently for my motorcycle... now to get the four things properly sync'ed!

ReplyDeleteI didn't realize that your dad's car was running. The shots that I saw were for a car awaiting restoration; or so I thought.
Nope, not running. But the carbs were rebuilt in anticipation of it running...
